

Musayyib Technical College
Musayyib Technical College is one of the formations of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. It was established in 1998 in response to the growing societal need for specialized technical disciplines that were not available at the time in other Iraqi university colleges, contributing to supplying the labor market with specialized technical expertise.
College Objectives
The college aims to prepare technical cadres and advanced staff at the Technical Bachelor’s level, qualified academically and scientifically to handle modern technologies, as well as preparing staff at the Technical Master’s and Technical Doctorate levels to keep pace with scientific development and complete the academic construction process in professional disciplines. The college also seeks to support applied scientific research and community service, and includes the following specializations: Engineering, Medical, and Agricultural.

Musayyib Technical College aspires to be a beacon of beneficial knowledge, contributing to preparing a promising generation capable of entering the labor market with efficiency, distinction, and innovation. The college accepts students through the following channels:
- Graduates of the Scientific Branch with averages (75 – 85%) for engineering specializations, provided that the total of Mathematics and Physics grades is not less than 160.
- Graduates of the Scientific Branch with averages (65 – 75%) for agricultural specializations.
- Top 10% graduates of technical institutes within the college’s specializations.
- National top graduates of vocational education (Industrial and Agricultural).
