The College Council of Al-Mussaib Technical College convened its first session under the chairmanship of Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, Dean of the College, with the attendance of all council members.The session’s discussions primarily focused on aligning academic programs with labor market requirements, through the consideration of establishing new specialized technical departments. This initiative seeks to broaden the range of disciplines available to students while preparing highly qualified technical cadres capable of meeting the needs of the local market.In the framework of advancing postgraduate studies, the council also reviewed the academic requirements for the completion of the Master’s programs of two students from the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies, in support of strengthening scientific research and promoting advanced specialization in engineering fields.The agenda further included an overview of the college’s research plan for the academic year 2025–2026, which aims to foster research activity and direct it toward priority developmental areas.The session concluded with deliberations on the minutes of the ninth evening studies meeting, reaffirming the council’s commitment to the continuous development of academic and research programs.
