The Department of Animal Production Techniqِues, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a course titled “Modern Techniques in Poultry Feed Formulation and Identifying Key Nutritional Deficiency Diseases.”
The course aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants in poultry nutrition by introducing them to the latest techniques and software used in feed formulation. It also enabled participants to diagnose common nutritional deficiency diseases, analyze their causes, and identify preventive measures. Moreover, the course sought to improve the productivity and health performance of poultry flocks in line with the principles of sustainability and modern therapeutic nutrition.
The curriculum covered the use of modern programs and models to design balanced poultry diets, analyze and evaluate the efficiency of proposed rations based on nutritional and production results, diagnose nutritional deficiency diseases through clinical and laboratory assessments, and propose therapeutic and preventive strategies to improve feed quality and reduce the incidence of nutritional disorders.
Target Audience:
Technicians, specialists, feed mill owners, poultry farmers (both meat and egg production), as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students.
