The Graduate Studies Division includes several units:
  • Graduate Student Follow-up Unit
  • Documents and Certificates Unit
  • Statistics Unit
  • Electronic Archiving and Preservation Unit
One of the most important duties of the division is to receive all applicants for graduate studies each year. This involves completing the verification of electronic forms and paper files to prepare for the competitive examination for all applicants. Afterward, the university order and administrative approval for admission are issued, followed by the completion of security clearance, medical examination, sponsorship, and finally, the enrollment of accepted students.
Another key responsibility of the division is to complete all procedures related to thesis defenses for doctoral and master’s students, as well as graduation procedures.
  • More than 55 doctoral and master’s defenses were successfully completed in 2023.
All members of the Graduate Studies Division work like a single, highly coordinated unit, exerting tremendous effort in performing their duties and leaving no effort spared in completing students’ procedures. They deserve all appreciation and respect.
