Dean of Al-Musayyib Technical College Welcomes a Nigerian Student under the “Study in Iraq” Initiative
The Dean of Al-Musayyib Technical College, Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, welcomed the Nigerian student Abdulrasheed Abdallah from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in accordance with the directives of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to support and encourage Arab and international students to choose Iraq as a destination for higher education.
This meeting came as an official gesture of welcome to the Nigerian student, who has been admitted to the Master’s Program in the Department of Animal Production Techniques at the college.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Zubaidi affirmed the college’s full readiness to overcome any challenges that international students may face, while providing a supportive academic environment that ensures their success and helps them achieve their educational aspirations.
He noted that this acceptance reflects the high quality of the academic programs offered by the college and its distinguished reputation at both local and international levels, which continues to attract students from various countries around the world. He expressed his hope that student Abdulrasheed will serve as an exemplary addition to the college community and as an ambassador of the knowledge he acquires upon returning to his country after graduation, emphasizing that this step enhances students’ confidence in choosing Iraq as a place to pursue their studies.
The “Study in Iraq” initiative aims to strengthen Iraq’s position on the global education map and attract talented international students, thereby contributing to the development of scientific and cultural cooperation between Iraq and countries around the world
