The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit is one of the important and effective units that specialize in training and following up the affairs of graduates after graduation, which makes them more able and effective to advance in this field.
Module Mission:
This unit aims to provide specialized services to students in the form of training programs and courses that have been designed to suit the needs and requirements of the labor market, in light of an actual study of the market needs, as well as providing guidance services to students regarding the available jobs, by hosting senior influential figures in the labor market that are of interest to students as well as his advice and advice .
Objectives of the Unit:
* The unit is interested in communicating with the students of the college and its graduates and qualifying them through a number of programs and workshops, as well as extending bridges of dealing between the student and the labor market represented by the government sector and the local and international private sector and marketing them to him
* Helping students and graduates of the college in various disciplines to develop and build their own, scientific and practical capabilities. and their life skills in line with the labor market, which gives them the opportunity to discuss jobs after graduation in both the government and private sectors and work to spread the culture of the private sector and alleviate the burden of the public sector.
* Preparing training plans such as courses and seminars for students of the completed stages and graduates of the college; for the purpose of preparing them and preparing them psychologically, mentally and cognitively in preparation for meeting the recruiters.
* Introducing the student to English terms that help him when applying for work in companies and others.
* Registering the name of the graduate and the scientific specialization and the means of contacting him and giving him the sequence of preparation of training plans from courses
* Developing the capabilities of the student and the graduate to write a CV.
* Inviting private sector companies to attend the exhibitions of scientific and intellectual products held by the college and the university and presenting the problems facing their work to the university formations. There are no suitable solutions for them and provide job opportunities for college graduates.
* Approaching various international institutions for the purpose of obtaining grants for projects submitted by professors and graduates of the college.
Works of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit:
1-The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit began working in the college on 5/12/2019, through direct communication with the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the Middle Euphrates Technical University.That is, an action plan has been prepared for the rehabilitation unit in the aforementioned abandoned technical college.
2-The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit held the first course in the college on how to prepare a curriculum vitae in January, which the graduate needs when recruiting for a period of five days, and that course was delivered by Dr. Imad Kamel Hussein, and the attendees were students of the completed stages and graduates of the previous years of our college in various disciplines, with about 31 participants
3- In February, a five-day course on the WordPress system was held, delivered by Eng. Rawaa Adel Abdel Nabi. The number of participants in the course was 30, students and graduates of the previous years. At the end of the course, a paper questionnaire was conducted regarding the course and the results were positive by the participants.
4- A workshop was held on the maintenance of electric motors, the purpose of which is to increase expertise.
5- A seminar was held on drug use and its relationship to some psychological and social factors, including all college students.
6- A workshop was held on the new generation of communication systems (telephone device) and the attendees were the students and employees of the college.
7-A course on the Excel system was held for college graduates and employees.
8-The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, as well as the Student Affairs Unit at the Musayyib Technical College, were provided with complete data for the graduates of the previous three years, and these data contain: The name of the graduate. Phone. Email and residential address, so that the unit can build bridges of communication between it and graduates through social media pages, through qualification courses when providing job opportunities in private sector companies.
9- Approaching private sector companies and friendly companies, through establishing scientific cooperation with private sector companies, so that the unit can identify the problems and obstacles facing their work, so that they are converted into research projects for our students, which contributes to the mastery of scientific solutions and their treatment. These solutions are presented at the Scientific Outcomes Exhibition held by the Middle Euphrates Technical University

12- Contacting ERX by a number of professors after providing detailed studies to establish operational projects for graduates. These include:
First: The solar power plant project was implemented by a team that includes a number of college graduates and students of the fourth stage in the machinery and equipment department. Their relationship with the project was in the production of electrical energy, and it is an important part for you in the practical applications of study and job opportunities after graduation, because a large number of the graduates of the department now work in electrical power plants in Iraq and abroad . This project provides a work disk for thirty graduates . Twenty of them are male graduates and ten are female graduates.
Second: The benefit of the project to produce electrical power of 100 kW has been studied. The cost of establishing this project is 150 thousand US dollars.
13- There was an attendance for a workshop held by the Middle Euphrates Technical University on 4/2/2020, as well as a visit by a delegation from the university to the University of VerdShare in Britain . It included discussing several things, including
