The position of Head of Department is a responsibility rather than a privilege — an academic, ethical, and social trust borne by the individual entrusted with it.

From my perspective, the most important goals, visions, and future aspirations of the Department’s administration can be summarized as follows:

Achieving the higher objectives and strategic policies of the University.

Developing the Department’s strategic plan and monitoring its implementation.

Establishing a comprehensive plan for the administrative, academic, and research development of the Department.

Coordinating and enhancing the Department’s relations within and outside the University.

Elevating the level of quality and improving academic outputs.

Pursuing genuine change that leads to the effective development of the Department’s academic performance.

Enhancing the Department’s reputation within the University by focusing on academic affairs and promoting its image through collaboration with the central administration and other universities.

Emphasizing to the academic staff the utmost importance of the Department’s achievements—whether in publication, teaching, conferences, community service, professional partnerships, or social activities.

Encouraging participation in academic awards, recognition at local and international levels, and representation in scientific and social events worldwide.

Introducing the concept of Animal Production Technologies and their importance in sustaining life resources.

Describing and outlining the main methods in field management and fish pond management, and analyzing and designing sound management systems that help solve livestock production problems.

Preparing technical staff capable of implementing animal production programs through their professional qualifications in managing and improving the production of ruminants, poultry, and fish.

Training scientific cadres able to keep pace with scientific advancements in animal production, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector.
