Head of Department’s Message
The Department of Machines and Equipment Engineering Technologies is one of the key engineering departments at Al-Mussaib Technical College. Since its establishment, the department has worked diligently to keep pace with scientific and technological developments by providing students with both theoretical and practical training, preparing them as qualified technical engineers capable of designing, manufacturing, installing, operating, and testing machines and mechanical systems in various industrial fields—scientifically and technically.
Students are also trained to manage, utilize, and operate machinery efficiently, as well as to perform practical workshop operations such as welding, filing, and turning, mastering hands-on mechanical skills applicable both in the field and in the workshop.
In addition, the department provides specialized training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), enabling students to acquire proficiency in computer-assisted drawing and design.
The department also aims to strengthen students’ theoretical and research capacities by encouraging them to conduct scientific research in various areas of mechanical engineering, through seminars, workshops, and graduation projects.
