In order to provide the necessary support throughout the student\u2019s academic journey and to ensure the smooth implementation of the educational plan within an appropriate educational environment, and with the aim of developing and strengthening students\u2019 intellectual resilience and independent self-confidence in alignment with the objectives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the <strong>Deanery of Al-Musayyib Technical College<\/strong>, through the <strong>Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit<\/strong>, has established a comprehensive program designed to overcome obstacles and challenges that may hinder students\u2019 progress. This initiative focuses on creating a supportive educational and moral environment that fosters mutual respect and collaboration between the teaching staff and the students.<\/p>\n<p>The responsibility undertaken by the Ministry\u2014to ensure that students successfully meet the academic requirements of their courses and acquire the necessary practical skills\u2014can only be achieved through continuous counseling and assistance in finding suitable solutions to the various problems and difficulties students may encounter, both within and outside the university environment. These challenges may directly or indirectly affect their academic performance. Accordingly, the unit offers multiple options and solutions without compelling students to adopt prescribed guidance; rather, it serves as a vigilant and supportive presence, observing students\u2019 choices closely and providing advice and assistance whenever needed\u2014proactively, and not merely in response to a student\u2019s request for help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide high-quality counseling services to the college\u2019s students and assist them in developing their abilities and enhancing their educational, psychological, and social skills through the planning and implementation of programs that elevate performance and contribute to achieving the goals of <strong>Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit<\/strong> at <strong>Al-Musayyib Technical College<\/strong>, part of <strong>Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University<\/strong>, strives to develop its counseling services in accordance with the standards of academic accreditation quality, ensuring excellence in the delivery and impact of these services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities and Initiatives of the Counseling Unit Plan at Al-Musayyib Technical College<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The plan of the <strong>Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit<\/strong> at <em>Al-Musayyib Technical College<\/em> is expected to encompass the following activities and initiatives:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Conducting regular visits<\/strong> to students to maintain personal communication, discuss issues, and address any challenges they encounter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maintaining electronic communication<\/strong> with students whenever possible to discuss difficulties related to their academic studies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Engaging students in seminars and workshops<\/strong> organized by the college\u2014or by other institutes and colleges whenever possible\u2014to promote personal and social interaction and integrate them into the academic environment of university life.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Encouraging student participation<\/strong> in various college activities to enhance their sense of belonging and involvement in campus life.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Schedule of Tasks and Activities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It is proposed that the activities and initiatives outlined in the plan be implemented by the <strong>Office of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit<\/strong> at the college as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Hold an initial meeting<\/strong> between the Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit and the subcommittees of the academic departments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organize seminars<\/strong> led by the Dean with second-year students from all academic departments, each department separately.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organize seminars<\/strong> led by the Dean with first-year students from all academic departments, each department separately.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hold meetings<\/strong> with student representatives of the academic departments to explain their roles and responsibilities toward their peers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activate the student complaint box<\/strong>, with exclusive access and supervision held by the <strong>Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit<\/strong> at the college.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview The student is considered the core and ultimate purpose of the educational process.
