Who We Are:
The Citizens’ Affairs Unit is one of the essential administrative units of the college and is organizationally affiliated with the Office of the Respected Dean. This unit was established to address the affairs of citizens, including students and college staff members (faculty, technicians, and administrators), as well as external visitors. Its role is to receive their requests, complaints, suggestions, and inquiries, and to study and address them in cooperation and coordination with the relevant departments within the college.

This unit is distinguished by its vital role in providing services and promptly responding to citizens’ needs, thereby contributing to facilitating procedures and resolving issues within clear legal and administrative frameworks. It also represents a civilized model that reflects the spirit of institutions in advanced societies and seeks to establish a transparent and respectful relationship between citizens and the college, within an efficient and professional administrative environment.


Objectives of the Citizens’ Affairs Unit at Al-Mussaib Technical College

  1. The Citizens’ Affairs Unit serves as the main interface representing the college and the respected Dean in all matters related to citizens’ affairs, including students, staff (faculty, technicians, and administrators), and external visitors.
  2. The unit aims to provide the best services and facilities to citizens and to overcome any obstacles they may face within the college, ensuring their requests are processed within the designated timeframes.
  3. The unit directly supervises the organization of meetings with the respected President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in accordance with the issued instructions and directives.
  4. It also supervises the organization of meetings between the respected Dean and citizens, ensuring that their complaints and requests are heard directly.
  5. The unit responds to inquiries from visitors regarding the college and accurately directs them to the relevant departments or divisions.
  6. The unit embodies a civilized image that reflects the progress of modern societies and reinforces the principles of institutional governance by fostering transparency and mutual respect between citizens and the college.

Duties of the Citizens’ Affairs Unit

  1. Receive citizens, listen carefully to their complaints, and direct them to the relevant department or division based on the nature of their request.
  2. Respond to citizens’ inquiries in accordance with applicable legal regulations and instructions.
  3. Officially communicate with the respected Assistant Deans, heads of scientific departments, and the heads of divisions and units regarding submitted requests or to obtain their opinions.
  4. Record all requests clearly using the approved form designated exclusively for the Citizens’ Affairs Unit.
  5. Receive all requests addressed to the respected Dean and present them directly for appropriate decision or feedback.
  6. Receive requests for appointments with the respected University President and coordinate with the Citizens’ Affairs Division at the University to schedule the meeting, including direct communication with the division if the request or complaint pertains specifically to the President.
  7. Monitor the citizens’ complaint box daily to ensure that feedback and complaints are addressed promptly.
  8. Follow up on the University’s official Citizens’ Affairs communication group, whose notifications are formal and approved, to expedite the process of receiving and delivering correspondence related to the University’s Citizens’ Affairs Division.
